Orders are processed for delivery on working days only (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, excluding UK Bank Holidays)
Delivery times and services vary, please take the following as a guide from the date of dispatch:
UK: We dispatch via 3rd Party couriers (e.g. DPD, Royal Mail, etc. ), delivery is typically 3-5 business days after despatch. Delivery cost is calculated during checkout.
ALL OTHER COUNTRIES: We dispatch via 3rd Party couriers which typically takes 5-14 working days but for some countries, it can take up to 21 days.
Please note: Given the recent global events delivery schedules are impacted and unpredictable at this time. Further The Simple Idea is not able to provide a refund or offer a new delivery until 10 working days from expected delivery date. Delivery costs will be calculated at checkout.
Subject to local and national regulations. If you are seeking shipping not to a standard location e.g. UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France, - please contact support before placing your order to minimise disappointment and disruption.
We hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer a credit, refund, exchange or replacement on all goods returned to us within 48 hours of your receipt of goods provided they are in their original, unopened, unused and undamaged condition. We will consider the condition of the goods being returned when making a refund. All returns are subject to approval by The Simple Idea. Any costs for returning items safely and promptly are the liability of the customer, and goods remain in the safe keeping of customers until receipt confirmed in writing by The Simple Idea.
Should you wish to cancel your order or return goods that may have arrived damaged, or you are not satisfied with the products, please notify us within 48 hours (beginning with the day following the day of delivery to you).
Step 1: Please email help@thesimpleidea.com providing your order number, direct contact mobile number, electronic photographs of the goods as arrived and first opened, and clear details of any of the goods which are wanting to be returned and the reasons why.
Step 2: Once you have received a confirmation for return from our customer service team, you will receive a returns number unique to your order via email. You will also be given the return address to send any items to.
We recommend that you return your items by signed recorded delivery as we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that do not reach our Returns Department and you are liable for all shipping, handling, storage, tax and insurance costs relating to such a return.
Step 3: On receipt of the returned goods, we will review the items and provide you with the relevant credit, exchange or refund of the amount paid for the goods subject to our approval. We will not refund the original delivery charge unless the goods are faulty or have been incorrectly supplied.
Please note that postage or other return costs will be your responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
If your order is being shipped outside the European Union (EU), customs charges and taxes may apply that you will need to pay directly. All estimated delivery times could be delayed by customs entry procedures.
Our prices are all listed in GBP and VAT is included within our price where applicable.
Please note The Simple Idea is unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.
